Dr. Manuel Saldivar has been at UTRGV since 2014. Previously, he held teaching and research positions at the University of Colorado, Florida State University, and the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado.

Dr. Saldivar holds degrees from the University of Texas and the University of Colorado. His expertise is in learning and cognition, human development, and social science research methods. A Brownsville, Texas native, Dr. Saldivar enjoys reading science fiction and fantasy and especially zombie stories.
